So we've been away from home for over 10 days. Starting to miss an honest meal w vegetables. Recommended by the accom we were staying at and by reviews. Wow! Good honest food how it used to be at all the great bistros. We loved our large and small option for a roast pork meal and vegetables, baked potato. They have all the condiments which is a huge plus when eating roast dinners. Managed to also have the trifle and icecream, just because. No picture as ate too quick. Not noisy, the large bar area quiet, generous house wines. The guys serving are like machines led by an experienced chef. If you need a change from fried food and pies you won't be disappointed. What a great find! Now wish we had another night here.

Excellent place to try homemade food! Very tasty, very generous portions and affordable prices. They offer small and large meals, that include a meat (pork, chicken, beef, lamb) + gravy with veggies and a very good soup. They also provide many different sauces. Would recommend.

We visited Greymouth for the first time and loved the food and hospitality at this restaurant. We dined here two nights in a row. Here’s a photo of my small plate of tasty roasted pork with veggies—great value!

Really good carvery meal, @ $20 including free soup, it's a great bargain. We always seem to get roast lamb, which is beautiful, but would love the roast pork more often.

The daily roast meal is $20. Nice large portions, but always the same veg, so if you eat there often, it gets boring. Friendly staff.
